The organizing team’s goal is to hugely enhance reunion experience, beyond the basic Institute lunch event. We all are meeting after 25 years, and we would like to make this a memorable event spanning over 3 days with family – lot of old and new memories, fun, gossip, energy and connections!

The initial form was to get a tentative estimate of attendance. The new “Final payment and registration form/questionnaire” has a different set of questions that are required for firm attendees. Last year a total of 8 “forms” were filled over time, since different information was required at different stages. We are trying our best to bring that down to 4 forms.
Good news is that we have been able to line up Bain & Co. and E&Y as corporate sponsors for the event. We are working on 1 more. Even after the sponsorship, we do need contributions to take care of the lunch, Gala dinner, logistics (bus), entertainment (Indian Ocean band), mementos etc. Assuming last year’s cost, with no inflation adjustment, we needed Rs. 25k contribution per alumni, which we have been able to bring down to approx.16.5k (depending on size of the 3rd corporate sponsorship). While we understand some of you are still deciding if you can make it to Delhi in December, it helps us with planning if we can better estimate the final number of attendees, as there are some advance deposits to be made. We will allow late Registrations with slightly higher Registration Fee.
Registration fee/Contribution amount:
– 15,000 INR if paid by 15th August
– 16,500 INR if paid by 30th October
– 18,000 INR if paid by 15th December
a) There will be a separate registration for the Bigger Alumni Day for all Batches (second half of Sunday 21st Dec), with approx. registration charge of Rs. 800-1000 per person.
b) We will be requesting contribution for “Class Pledge”. Class pledge contribution (donation) will be tax deductible and will only be used for causes that enhance IIT Delhi. We will be reaching out for that separately.
Institute day lunch (Monday, 22nd December) and Yearbook cost is covered by IITD.
A Coordinator team has been created with representative volunteers from each Department and Hostel. We have also talked to Coordinator team from last 2 years to learn from their experience to make this a memorable event for all. But we need your help in making this successful by timely registrations and information collection.
